Emma helps small to medium Third Sector organisations transform their services and develop their teams to secure available funding. She first started using Third Door when her previous full time work contract was coming to an end and she knew she needed to go freelance.

Emma's son is in a nursery two days a week, so when she has work over and above those two days, she brings him to Third Door while she works upstairs in the office space. This enables her to take on twice as much work, which she couldn't do without the flexibility of Third Door because she is unable to predict her workload in advance.

Emma is able to work far more productively from Third Door than at home, so she gets much more done in the time available which allows her to then spend quality time with her son to take him to a music class or to the park which is just around the corner from Third Door.

Lisa has recently joined Third Door and brings her youngest son to our nursery once a week. She is building a new business and at this stage only needs a few hours a week to work, so has found Third Door's facilities work perfectly for her.

Lisa's alternative childcare choices would have been to commit to a nanny, childminder or a nursery on a minimum basis of a two days a week which would have been too much at this stage.

Once Lisa starts working with clients more regularly, Third Door will enable her to be completely flexible and see them when it's convenient to them, confident in the knowledge that she can get flexible quality childcare without having to jump through hoops to organise it.
