Drupal Coworking Day #10

Drupal Coworking Day

at

Third Door (Workhub & Nursery)

You don’t have to be from South-West London to come join us! You don’t even have to be from London! Or anywhere! What’s important is that you know (some) Drupal and want to work with other professionals in a really nice co-working space for a day.

It’s free, and as Third Door will be celebrating their 3rd Birthday, they’ll be Cake (as well as the usual pastries and supply of tea and coffee)

So what are you waiting for? Sign up and join our 9th Drupal Co-working day.

So what is a Drupal co-working day? Essentially, it’s a chance for Drupal professionals to work alongside each other for the day. Drupal co-working days take place all over the world on the last Friday of each month.

Drupal Coworking Day

About Drupal Coworking Friday:

Proposed date: First Friday of each month
It takes place in your local city

Anyone can start/host one and it’s focused on Drupal Professionals (freelance, fulltime, part time, in office, home, etc.)
This is not a meetup, code-sprint, BoF or presentation
Attendees would still do their regular work/calls/etc

Other Drupal folks would be there to talk to, collaborate, advise (and likewise for the attendee).
An entire section of the space (either a full desk or the meeting room) will be dedicated for Drupal professionals

See http://groups.drupal.org/node/195983 for the Drupal Coworking Friday FAQ and the Coworking group at http://groups.drupal.org/coworking for general information about coworking.

Just bring your laptop, your business cards or whatever else you need.

Start: June 7, 2013 9:00 am
End: June 7, 2013 5:00 pm
Venue: Third Door (Workhub & Nursery)
Address:

Colour and Your brand

Why your brand colours matter and how colour is your sales tool

Whether you need your customers to connect with you and the services you offer, you’re a large business or corporation, or you have merchandise to sell; colour is an integral part of the design. Colour connects you to a person, a place or a product and sparks the initial interest that draws us towards a brand.

If you’re thinking about re-branding or creating your new brand and making decisions on colour for your business logos, leaflets, business cards and websites; in this workshop we’ll be looking at how you can use colour as your ‘silent sales tool’.

In this session we will explore:

  • How and why we are influenced by colour

  • Why it’s important to use colour to communicate your brand values

  • What your brand colours say about you

  • Which colours get your customers to spend money

  • Tips for using colour effectively in your business branding

How you’ll benefit

This interactive workshop will add another dimension to your marketing ideas and will bring the subject of colour to life. It will help you to understand what your choice of colours will do for your business so you can communicate the right messages to your customers
